Vincenzo Greco – Italo-American Artist
Artist Statement
Vincenzo Greco is an Italian-born artist who splits his time between Sicily and Miami. Through his work, he explores the intangible aspects of the human condition—such as the passage of time and its effect on perception—while drawing inspiration from the geological forces shaping the Earth. His creations include both two-dimensional and three-dimensional works that often carry an ethereal, contemplative quality.
In 2017, Vincenzo founded the Mayo Family Connections Artist Group and became a summer artist-in-residence at the New York Art Center’s Total Arts Day Camp. He received recognition for his winning proposal for a marble sculpture titled “Freedoms,” which became part of a public American art collection. More recently, his installation “Freedoms Horizons” was on display at the New York Art Center.
